Terms of Service

Payment Info
-I only accept payment through Paypal at this time
-If you have any questions regarding commissions or you are interested in one, please send me a note on DA or email me at storiesofheroes@gmail.com
-Half of the payment will need to be received after I have completed a preliminary sketch for you, unless the commission is under $10 or less. If your commission is $10 or less I will not request payment until the entire commission is complete.
-If I haven't started your piece I will gladly refund in full. If you request a refund after a sketch has been provided for you, I will refund half of what you paid. However, refunds are not an option or negotiable for completed works.

Commission Details
-As the commissioner, it is your responsibility to provide a proper ref of a character you would like to have drawn. If you don't have a proper ref- that's ok. Give me a detailed description of the character and I will work with you to make your commission look right.
-If you have a drawn ref available, please send me a link, or add the image in the note/email
- If there is a character that is owned by someone else ( Ex. A Friend of yours) please let me know to avoid confusion when the final product is posted.
- Major changes won't be made after completion, so be sure to mention if you would like anything changed during WIP/sketch stages. I will provide plenty of WIPs. If it is something minor (ex. a missed marking on a character, or something is colored incorrectly) I'd be happy to go back and fix it for you, but major background changes, pose changes, or whole commission changes will not be accepted.
-If there is a commission you would like to have done before a certain date let me know ahead of time, so I know when your commission needs to be finished.
-Please have patience as some commissions take longer than others. Real Life situations can get in the way of completing a commission too. If it is something big, I will try to let everyone know.
- Please be specific on any details that you find important for your commission. ( Character personalities, poses, information, style, etc), I am not held responsible for any details you left out that you wanted shown in the commission.
-If I am not comfortable with what you desire for your commission or how I am treated, I have every right to refuse to work for you.
-I will not draw nudes, fetish art, or art with hate symbols. If something is not listed here, that doesn't guarantee I will draw it for you.

The Process
-Message me with what pose you would like, if you would like shading or a background, a reference of your character, and any questions you have
-I will message you back as quickly as I am able (I usually check my email and DA multiple times throughout the day)
-Once I've got an idea of what you want, I will sketch out your character over the pose and send that to you so you can tell me if there is anything you'd like me to change
-When I have the OK from you, I will fully begin your commission, and I will request half of the payment via paypal (Unless your commission is $10 or less)
-When your commission is complete, I will request the rest of the payment via paypal. Once I have received payment I will send you the finished commission.
-If you see something in your finished commission that you would like me to change (ex: I forgot a marking, or mis-colored something) let me know so I can go back and fix it. Please let me know ASAP!

Customer Rights
-You are allowed to repost your completed commission on your gallery/website/blog if you wish, or use it as an avatar. However, proper credit must be given.
-You may not trace, sale for profit, heavily edit, or claim that you created the artwork.
